Mylan's Baseball Camp in St. Louis

Larry and I had a surprise for Mylan - a St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Camp! We told him the night before the camp. He was so excited! The camp was taught by retired St. Louis Cardinals baseball players:

Kerry Robinson - #13 - Outfielder - 2001-2003
Scot Cooper - #34 - 3rd Baseman - 1995
Craig Paquette - #21 - Infield/Outfield - 1999-2001
John Mabry - #47 - Infield/Outfield - 1994-1998, 2001, 2004-2005
TJ Mathews - #33 - Pitcher - 1995-1996, 1997, 2001
Ken Dayley - #46 - Pitcher - 1984-1990
Scott Terry - #37 - Pitcher - 1987-1991
Lee Thomas - #50 - 1st Baseman/Outfield - Served as Cardinals director of player development from 1981-1988

At the end of the baseball camp the kids were able to get an autographed baseball card from each of them and they also received a goody bag filled with cool Cardinals stuff!

Crazy LA Dodger Fans!

While at one of the games, a few LA Dodger fans sat a few rows in front of us. The guy with the towel above his head in the middle was funny. Although he was a major LA Dodgers Manny Ramirez fan he was a good sport about it. He even joked around with some of the little kids that picked on him for being a Dodgers fan!

Grants Farm

Grants Farm is a 19th century farm stead courtesy of Anheuser-Busch - a free family friendly activity. Grants farm was purchased in 1903 by August Busch Sr. It was once planted and plowed by President Ulysses S. Grant. It was opened to the public in 1954.

This is Ulysses S. Grant's log cabin. It even has a cool fence made from Civil War rifles!

We went to see the Budweiser Clydesdale's.

Mylan tried to feed the goats a bottle of milk but those little animals are strong and pretty much attack you once they smell the milk!
Here are a few of the other animals around the farm.

The elephant show was really fun!

Mylan was one of the kids chosen to compete in a balloon blowing contest. The elephant won!

At the end of the show the elephant gave us a little bow.

Busch Stadium Tour

We took a tour of the new Busch Stadium. This was Mylan first time at the new stadium so we thought a tour would be pretty cool.

Here is my boys in the visitors dug out. Unfortunately there was an interview in progress in the Cardinals dugout so we weren't able to go over there.

A tour guide took a picture of all us us next to the wall that shows all of the St. Louis Cardinals logos throughout the years.

This is the room that the sports radio is broadcast from during the games.

Throughout the entire tour the "Pujols 5 twins", Mylan and another boy his age, lead the tour group with the tour guide. They were always up front and center so that they could see all of the action.
