Surprise!!

My sister-in-law, Darla, decided to surprise my mother-in-law, Sue for her 60th birthday. Darla planned this whole thing from Houston, TX. The party theme was Las Vegas Casino Night since that is one of Sue's favorite things to do and she loves Elvis! Sue was in shock to see that Darla traveled here to surprise her! In the end it all came together quite nicely with the help of many people especially with the help of my step-father-in-law, Woody!! I took a ton of pictures at the party so I am only posting the best ones. Here they are in random order:

Mylan's Laser Quest Party

Today was Mylan's 10th birthday party at Laser Quest. It was a blast!! I told Larry that I want to have my birthday parties at Laser Quest from now on! It was so much fun! If you haven't played Laser Quest before...you need to try it. I made a few friends while I was there..."Darth Maul" and Darth Vader"! That was their code names anyway. Their real names were Andrew and Alex. They were two little boys ages 7 and 8 who decided to be my body guards for some unknown reason. Funny huh! Andrew found me in the game room being attacked by laser and said, "Follow me! I'll guard you!" So we kind of became a team. I'm tell you, it was so much fun in there being a big kid with those two running around and yelling "RETREAT! RETREAT!" Here are the best shots I took from Mylan's party.

This is Mylan's cake. His mom, Becky, worked very hard on it and did a great job!

This is Larry and The Werbins.

This is the Werbins son, James. He's a great kid!

Here are the boys goofing off for the camera...silly boys!

That's Stephen...

Mylan seems to be enjoying his cake very much!

Mylan's Grandma (Becky's mom) gave him a cool camera!

That's her.

Blow out those candles Mylan!

By the end of the party it was total chaos as you can see...Sigh...we survived!

Ugly

This is our fabulous bedroom! Nice huh?
I recently removed the hideous pealing wallpaper from the walls (Shonda helped me some). So this it what it looks like right now. Ick! We'll get it painted soon but first Larry is going to have to find the time from the busy schedule to patch the trillions of nail holes that were under the paper.

Stinky Garage

We finally found why our garage was stinky for a while. A mouse drown in the grease in the turkey fryer. Gross!

Mylan's 10th Birthday!

Mylan turned 10 on February 12th! That Friday we went to the Thunder Hockey game. When we got home he opened his gifts from Larry and I.

Isn't he a handsome 10 year old?!

The next day we went to Grandma Sue's house for cake and more gifts!

I guess Grandpa Woody liked the cake too!
